Restoration of a furniture with Boulle marquetry
Here I restored a pice of furniture with Boulle marquetry in tortoiseshell and pieces of brass.
I had to restore the central medallion as well as the unadorned wood that surrounds it because quite a bit had become unstuck.
I re-gilded the bronze, retouched the darkened parts and sponge-applied a varnish to the entire piece.
