Restoration of a Renaissance buffet circa 1680.
This sculpted burgundian buffet is made of solid walnut. Sculpted in the round, the side panels and the central pilaster are flanked by caryatides. A floral decor ornaments the façades of the drawers.

I restored the old, worm-eaten or missing back panels, the sculpted parts, the sides, the top and the frames of the deteriorated doors. Following the treatment, I applied a wax patina.
