This armoire presents fruitwood marquetry on violet and rosewood panels stamped “BON DURAND”, recognized as a master cabinet-maker in 1764.

What is interesting with this piece is the mix of indigenous fruitwoods (pear, cherry, and also boxwood) and tropical woods (amaranth, violet, lemon and rosewood).

I repaired the cracks on the façade and the sides by re-veneering the damaged parts.
