Restoration of an 18th century sideboard in solid walnut. A very worn piece of furniture when it arrived at the Workshop, it necessitated many grafts and treatment of the backs, the base and the doors (frames and panels).
The top was taken off entirely to put back in place the jagged solid wood panels that had come apart.
A readjustment then a hot gluing were necessary before a fine sanding and a finish with wax filler.
